2010 GDAR Bull Sale

The 2010 GDAR bull sale was held right here at Gartner-Denowh Angus Ranch on March 25, 2010. It was a cold and windy day, but a great crowd was in attendance, and the bleachers were full. We woul like to thank everyone who participated in the sale. The sale averaged $2,892. Lot 1 topped the sale at $10,000 and went to Redland Angus of Manderson, WY. A flush brother, lot 33, was the second high selling bull at $9,000 going to Penbrook Cattle Company of Fairview, OK, Conley Cattle of Marietta, OK, Parisover Ranch of Colbert, GA, and 7451 Cattle of Marshall, oK. They also purchased the 4th high seller lot 29 for $6250, which is also a flushmate. The third high selling bull was lot 45 and sold to Veebaray of Lambert, MT.

The 2010 GDAR Bull Sale Catalog is Online

The 2010 GDAR bull sale catalog is now online. Adobe Acrobat is required to view the catalog, and can be downloaded for free at www.adobe.com. The catalog is now going to the printer and should be mailed by March 3rd. Please contact GDAR with any questions or comments about the catalog or to request a hard copy.

The GDAR Website Gets A New Look

We hope you enjoy our new and improved look here at gdar-angus.com, Gartner-Denowh Angus Ranch's headquarters in cyberspace. Along with the new format, lots of new features have also been added. The major goals of this project included: improving usability of the site, making navigation easier, adding new and useful information, and to make our site more enjoyable. The old pages have been improved and added to and some new pages have been added. More pages will be added in the future so make sure to check back often. In the meantime explore what we have to offer, and let us know if you have any questions or comments.

Mick Denowh Elected to Board of Directors of Montana Stockgrowers

The Montana Stockgrowers had their annual meeting the second week of December 2009. Mick Denowh was elected to their board of directors during the meeting. He is glad to contribute to an organization that actively defends the rights of all Montana ranchers and private property owners. Beef promotion and education are priorities of the group. He is participating on the Beef Performance Committee. Feel free to express your concerns and ideas to him.
